Rapper Ja Rule was one of the biggest music sales artists in the early 2000s. He is a rap pioneer who reached number 1 on the R&B and Pop charts that collaborate with the largest pop artist like Jennifer Lopez. The rules helped launch an Inc. Murder record with Irv Gotti’s childhood friend.
Both of them continued to create a musical dynasty that opened one for other successful artists such as Ashanti, Lil Mo, Charli Baltimore, and Lloyd. The label is in the development agreement with Def Jam Records which handles their records. In 1999 Murder Inc. released their first album by Jarule titled Venni Vetti Vicci which featured Holla Holla.
This album sold more than 2 million copies worldwide. Since then until 2007 labels have sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. In his career, he has 3 platinum albums and many hits including putting it on me, between me and you, live and single number 1 with Ashanti always on time. The rule of continuing the tour that was sold out and earned more than $ 40 million from 1999 to 2005. But with the emergence of another 50 cent rapper queens came falling and the death of Ja Rule’s career.
Rapper Ja Rule was born Jeffrey Atkins in Queens New York. He grew up as a witness of Jehovah. He began to knock in a group called Cash Money Click but after signing with Def Jam in 1998 he had a lifetime escape displayed in the song Jay-Z “Can I Get A.” The song was intended to be JA’s first single until Jay used it for himself and adding a verse. In the same year he married his girlfriend who had long been Aisha Murray, the couple had three children of Brittany, Jeff and Jordan Atkins.
After becoming one of the graphics, the most dominant artist rules began to expand his career to act. He starred in Fast and Furious, half dead, frightening film 3, The Cookout and more than a dozen other films. He is currently repeating his acting skills for the 2013 movie goat.
In 2005 the music world witnessed the slow death of the murder of the Inc. Records which was being investigated for drug trafficking by Kenneth McGriff which was associated with Inc. He is the only investor. Def Jam refused to update the distribution agreement with an Inc. who left Irv Gotti’s CEO in a long mission to find a new partnership. In 2008, JA rules even had more difficulties in receiving a 28 -month sentence for tax embezzlement. He failed to pay more than $ 3 million taxes from income between 2004 and 2006. He was released from May 2013.
According to the state of New York, IRS JA gained $ 8 million between 2004 and 2006 from Touring and Royalties of the old album sales. In those two years, the rule of JA Rule reached digital download sales of 2 million. 600,000 single downloaded from iTunes. Amazon also reported a strong album sales from pain was love with 120,000 copies for 2 years. JA still produces $ 2.20 for each album sold. The songs that he recorded and wrote for Jennifer Lopez and other artists were still mapping on the top iTunes songs like Ain’t It Funny who remained in number 140 for 30 weeks in countries like Japan and China.
